The matching lid (available separately here in the shop!) closes absolutely tightly and makes the bowl leak-proof. If you turn it over, it acts as a perfect cover for the microwave. The raised edge reliably prevents the bowls from slipping during transport, and at the same time it is cleverly designed so that the rinse water can drain away easily.
